Post your cake :)

Folks, there are so many 'post your ....' threads. This is really funny and I just would like to start another one.

We have a similar thread in the forum where I had acted as a co-admin some time ago (most of the forum is in German) but I would really be interested to see what kind of cakes are "designed" in other countries. So, here we go!

I don't think it's supposed to, but it definitely will!

My friend made this cake for our little Indian who was going away, and she loves Harry Potter.

Yes it is. The bottom is made with flour, sugar, water, butter and yeast (and a little salt) (yeast dough), then a filling of appels and mashed apples (with sugar) and the top is 'Streusel': 100g sugar, 100g flour and 100g Butter.

Very tasty!

I am impressed by the other cakes!

X-Mas is approaching, so I thought I should bring this thread back to life.

There are still fresh strawberries available, so I made this one yesterday:

This one is from our wedding rehearsal party, June 30, 2000. The pedal is made from Kit-Kats, glued together with melted chocolate and held up by popsicle sticks. The frame is Hostess Ho-Hos, with the top one wrapped in foil to look like a seat post. The seat is a partial bundt cake. Very clever, and tasty!

I've heard of a "cake walk", but a "cake ride"!

Haha that is one "sweet" uni!
