brycer1968 told me you had a KH/schlumpf that you were selling. Did you sell it? I am looking for one.

Hi Heather, I must not get this message, it's 1/21/2011 so it may be too late but let me know if you still have the hub. Thanks..Tom

Hi there, I read your post about possible selling the geared hub, I wonder if it is the Schlumpf muni hub and what would you want for it? I'm looking to get one day...Thanks..Tom

Thanks for the response. My last ride was s l o w. It took about 4 hours to go 34 miles. Total ascent was only 1100+ ft. Well I am going to have to learn to use shorter cranks I suppose. I liked the 125s for riding but felt very uncomfortable in traffic. I have some 137s I could throw on for awhile. Maybe I should just learn to use 114s so that 125s will feel better. I need the 150s for hills though. I'm amazed how hard it is to climb on the 36 compared to the 29. Maybe it's because I'm a wimpy, old, "girl." (Maybe that's just an excuse)

Howdy mbalmer, just answering your post on the ride of the day thread regarding my 50 mile uni ride. My GPS tells me the riding time was 6hrs 1min and ascent was 3562 ft. I used 137's that I chose because of the hilly bits but I was really cranking fast on the flat and could have used 125's except I'm weak on hills at present so opted for the longer cranks as a good compromise for the whole ride. You may know from the forums that I want to attempt the 100 mile ride this year but I think I am still trying to locate a flatter route because those mountains kill me!
